Emmette J. Sullivan, retired from the former Maintenance and Construction Department, died in Baton Rouge on February 11th. He was 71 years old and he had 38 years and 8 months of service.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lula Day Sullivan; a son, Emmette L., Baton Rouge; three daughters, Mrs. Clara Faye Bergeron, Baton Rouge; Mrs. Marian Lisenbee, Shreveport; and Mrs. Mussette Savage, Memphis, TN., a sister, Emma Sullivan Long, and two brothers, Carroll and John Leo Sullivan.
