Mrs. Della H. Chappell, 47, wife of Elvis S. Chappell, supervisor of construction for the Illinois Bell Telephone company, died last Sunday morning at her home in Danville, according to word received in this city yesterday. Death was a result of heart trouble and followed by an illness of nearly five years.
Mrs. Chappell had been bedfast since the death of her son, Leon Chappell, who died in Danville several months ago. Chappell had been in the employ of the State Journal as a printer.
Funeral services of Mrs. Chappell will be in this city this morning at the grave in Oak Ridge cemetery.
