Frank J. Seno, 53, who during a seven-year career in professional football in the 1940s set records for pass interceptions and a kickoff return, died yesterday in his home at 538 Marshall Ave., Bellwood.

Seno set the kickoff return record in 1946 while he played for the old Chicago Cardinals. The record 105-yard return remained a record for 10 years. In 1947, playing for the old Boston Yanks, he intercepted more passes as a defensive halfback than any other player in pro football. He also played for the Washington Redskins and the Green Bay Packers. Recently he has been the owner and manager of Seno's Playdium in Bellwood.

He is survived by his widow, Arlene; two daughters, Joanne and Mrs. Suzanne McCullough; one son, Frank Jr., and one grandchild. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Simeon Church, 430 Bohlind Ave., Bellwood.
