He was born March 16, 1916, in Lorain and was a lifelong resident of Lorain County until he moved to Loudonville two years ago.
He graduated from Lorain High School in 1933 and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving with the 126th Infantry, 32nd Division, in the Asiatic-Pacific area. He received two Bronze Stars.
Clark was employed as a machinist and tool and die maker for companies in the Lorain area.
Survivors include his sister, Dorothy Kunkle of Granville; and two nephews and three nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Jessie (nee Jacobs) Clark; brother, Donald Clark; and sister, Gwendolyn Knight.
Military graveside services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. in Elmwood Cemetery, 640 N. Ridge Road, Lorain, by the Veterans of Foreign Wars There is no funeral home visitation.
