McDaniel, David S., 68, of Tucson , died September 29, 1979. Mr. McDaniel was the owner of McDaniel Plumbing and Heating for 35 years, and National Director of The National Association of Plumbing and Heating Contractors from 1958 to 1960. He was a long time member of the First Baptist Church and president of the chapel bible class for three years. He was also a member of the Saguaro Rotary Club for many years. He is survived by his wife Jessie; a daughter, Mrs. Darlene Gerhart of Tucson; two granddaughters, Joyce Kahn of Pinetop, AZ and Deanna Gerhart of Phoenix; his mother, Mrs. Geneva McDaniel; and a sister, Mrs. Celia DeHority, both of Decatur, IL. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Sleeth Chapel, First Baptist Church. Burial will be in South Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at Dalton's Palms Mortuary, 5225 E. Speedway, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., Monday. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The American Heart Association.
