Abraham Brock. 70. 1329 Ionia Street. Lake Odessa died Monday evening at Pennock Hospital in Hastings where he had been a patient two days. He had been ill for several years.
Born October 26, 1895, he was the son of Jacob and Mary Russell Brock of Lake Odessa. He married Jennie Begerow, January 1, 1917 and was a long time resident of Lake Odessa. He served in the National Guard prior to World War I, stationed at Grayling. Mr. Brock was a retired contractor in Mason.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. LeRoy Brock and Mrs. Raymond Hoffman of Lansing; four sons Howard, Glendon, Vernon and Dale of Lake Odessa; two brothers, Charles of Lansing and Lloyd of Hastings; 16 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services will be at Pickens Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa, Thursday at 1:30 p.m. with burial in Lakeside Cemetery.
