Mrs. Bessie Drewel, wife of Henry A. Drewel, Belle, Mo. was born December 16, 1894, died February 9, 1927, age 32 year 1 month and 24 days. Deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Scantlin, of Red Bird. On March 20, 1915, she was married to H.A. Drewel and to this union were born five children. The eldest and youngest child proceeded her in death. She leaves to mourn her death, the husband, three children, Mildred age 10, William age 8, Delmar age 6. One brother, Tandy Scantlin, of Bland, two sisters, Mrs. J. E. Tynes, of Belle, Mrs. Manuel Shockley, of Vichy, beside her parents and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was a member of the Baptist church of High Gate. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Affolter, at the Baptist church house and interment was made at the Baptist cemetery of High Gate. She is gone but will live forever in the hearts of all who knew her - A brother in law.
