Funeral services for Mrs. Esther Rader, 85, were held Tuesday at Hartley Funeral Home, McComb, the Rev. Robert Hayes officiated. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, McComb.
Mrs. Rader died last Saturday at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Findlay.
She was born Jan. 16, 1891, in Portage Township, Hancock County, to Martin V. and Jane (Montgomery) Insley. She married S.A. "Min" Rader of Dec. 10. 1914, and he died May 2, 1975.
Surviving are two sons, Charles and Ned, both of McComb; two daughters, Mrs. Bernis (Jane) Parker, St. Mary's; Mrs. John (Carol) Smith, McComb; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Lettie Brandeberry, Mrs. Ola Miller, both of Route 7.
She was a member of Blue Star Mothers, American Legion Auxiliary Post, United Methodist Church and the Women's Society of the church, all in McComb.
Memorials may be made to the church.
