Miss Bertha Jarvis, 74, a retired employe of the Kanawha County school board, died Sunday in Charleston Memorial Hospital.
She resided at 832 Bigley Avenue. Miss Jarvis was a member of the Charleston Chapter #317 of Women of the Moose.
Serviving sisters, Mrs. Howard Eberhart and Mrs. Edward [sic] Dumont of South Charleston; brothers, H. M. and V. W. of Charleston.
The Women of the Moose will conduct a service today at 7:30 p.m. in Elk Funeral Home. The funeral will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. James Gardiner in the funeral home and burial will be in the family cemetery on Elk River Road.
