Curtis Wendell "Curt" Wiggins died Thursday, August 12, 2010. He was born September 14, 1954 to Eli and Gladys Wiggins of Brown Store, the ninth child out of ten. He joined First Baptist Church of Heathsville early in life.
After graduating high school, he moved to the Washington, DC area. A few years later, Curtis met and wed Bridget A. "BB" Williams.
His hard work enabled him to accomplish personal goals, one of which was starting his own real estate investment company.
Curtis and B.B. joined Shiloh Baptist Church of Landover, Md. Curtis was a devoted and active member of the Jubileers Mens Choir, coaching the softball team, and helping with the Audio Visual Ministry.
He is survived by his wife, Bridget; his son, Montez (Mai-Le); three grandchildren, Elijah, Madison and Morgan; four brothers, Levern Wiggins (Judy), Gilbert Wiggins (Idella), John Wiggins and Clayton Wiggins (Sandra); four sisters, Mary Henderson (Joseph), Diane Mizell (Shaffer), Adell Frisby (Royal) and Virginia Wiggins; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held August 19, at First Baptist Church in Heathsville and August 21, at Shiloh Baptist Church in Landover , Md. Interment was in National Harmony Memorial Park in Landover, Md.
Services of Comfort and Trust entrusted to the Berry O. Waddy Funeral Home.
