Boyd E. Morris, 74, Olathe, KS passed away peacefully on February 13, 2006 in Olathe.

Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens at 1pm on Thursday, February 16, 2006.

The family suggests memorials to the church building fund.

Boyd was born April 6, 1931, one of eight children. He is survived by his loving wife, Grace of 41 years. He leaves behind five children, Jane & husband John Fortin of Overton, Nebraska, Don & wife Alberta Morris of Hays, Kansas, Terri & husband Doug Main of Portales, New Mexico, Cathy Anazao of Alamogordo, New Mexico, and Denise Morris of Tokyo, Japan, fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. He also leaves four brothers, Neil & wife Betty Morris of Lenexa, KS, Robert & wife Geneva Morris of Ingalls, Kansas, Virgil & wife Jean Morris of Johnson, Kansas, and Jim & wife Jean Morris of Ulysses, Kansas, three sisters, Maureen & husband Jim Main of Phoenix, Arizona, Shari & husband Dennis Massion of Scottsdale, Arizona, Nita Killman of Indianapolis, Indiana and a loving church family.

Boyd attended Southern Nazarene University and was a proud U.S. Marine veteran. He was an active member of Westside Church of the Nazarene. He leaves a legacy of joy, integrity and kindness. He was a strong pillar of the family, devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and a very generous spirit. Boyd also leaves behind a loving church family all whom will dearly miss him.
