Funeral services for Carl Robert Sammons, 54, Graceville, FL (formerly of route 2, Louisa), will be conducted today, Jan 25, at Young Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Darrell McDaniels. Burial will be in Franklin Cemetery, route 2, Louisa. Mr. Sammons died Saturday, Jan 21 in Florida. He was born Nov 27, 1934 in Louisa, son of Lawrence Sammons of route 2, Louisa and the late Rae Vaughan Sammons. He was a veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include one son, Robert Sammons, Scaggsville, MD, 3 daughters: Miss Jill Sammons, Anita Sammons, Amy Sammons all of Scaggsville; 2 brothers: Charles Sammons, Gresham, OR, Winfred Sammons, Wheaton, MD; 2 sisters: Mary Collins, Caryville, FL and Jane Ridenour, Dayton, OH; 2 grandchildren.
