ABBIE M. ADAMSON, 104 formerly of Agency, Iowa, died March 24 2001, at the Forsyth Care Center in Forsyth, Missouri.

She was born March 6, 1897 in Wapello County, Iowa to JAMES and RACHEL DEPPY REYNOLDS. She married WILLIAM ADAMSON on Feb 01 1921. He preceded her in death in April 1981.

A resident of Wapello County, Iowa until 1988 when she moved to Forsyth, Missouri, she was a member of the Agency United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.

Surviving are a daugher, DOROTHY M. WHEATON of Forsyth, Missouri; three grandchildren, and a fosther grandchild; three great-grandchildren and four foster great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a brother, PAUL GROUWINKEL of Columbus Junction; two sisters, VERA WILEY of Conesville and BERNICE NEWHARD of Sun City West, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter; a brother, GEORGE GROUWINKEL; four sisters, EFFIE CRAMMOND, ELIZABETH McCULLEY, MAUDE STONE and MABEL STORY.

Funeral services were at 1 pm Wednesday at the Agency United Methodist Church with the Rev. Judy Deweber officiating. Burial was in the Agency, Iowa Cemetery. Pallbearers were Roger and Gregory Wheaton, Bob and Gene Glenn, Charles McBeth and Ferrell Wiley. Visitation on Tuesday at the Reece Funeral Home where the family was present in the evening.
