Mrs. Emily Nogar, wife of Russell H. Nogar of Kasson, passed away at her home last Thursday evening, March 28, following a long Illness.
Emily Palmer was born April 9, 1862, near Marshburg, a daughter of James and Nancy Turner Palmer. She spent her childhood there, later residing In Kane and Mt. Jewett.
In 1895 she was united in marriage to Russell H. Nogar at Smethport.
For the last 36 years, she and her husband have lived on a farm at Kasson.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter. Mrs. E. W. Swanson; 3 grandsons, Russell, Ralph and Dale Swanson; also by 2 sisters. Mrs. Thos. Morrison of Kane and Miss Louisa Palmer of Bradford, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service wu» held at the home on Sunday, Rev. a. H. Bomgren of the Mt. Jewott Lutheran Church, officiating.
Pallbearers were: John Shelander, G. E. Johnson, Elmer Klnney, Clove VanSlckle, James Morgan and Vernon Swanson.
Interment was made in Falrvlcw Cemetery at Kane.
