Visitation will be Wednesday, from 4-7 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with a wake service at 7 p.m.
Richard was born on Nov. 5, 1976, the son of Milton and Marlene "Sally" (Weiland) Ainsworth. He attended school at St. Leonard's Catholic School and Madison Public Schools. He enjoyed spending time with his children and family and working with livestock on the farm. He was currently employed at McDonald's where he has worked for the past seven years.
Richard is survived by his mother, Sally Ainsworth, of Norfolk; his children, Jenna Ainsworth and Dylan Ainsworth, of Yankton, S.D.; three brothers and their spouses, Jim and Diane Ainsworth, of Madison, Dave and Sylvia Ainsworth, of Madison, and Francis Ainsworth, of Norfolk; four sisters and their husbands, Rose and Pat Prather, of Madison, Mary and Chris LaShure, of Denver, Colo., Ann and Tim Smith, of Norfolk, and Tricia Bach, of Norfolk; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1987; one brother, Steve, in 1986; and one brother, Robert, in infancy.
Memorial contributions are asked to be made to the Norfolk Catholic Schools.
