DOROTHY MARIE MILLER, 84, passed away Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010, at Village of Heritage Nursing Home, Monroeville. Born in Fort Wayne, she loved and cared for her family. Her love and care for others was abundant, she volunteered at the Lutheran Home for many years. She was a member of D.A.V.A. - Elmer Pond Chapter #1, Fort Wayne. Surviving are her son, Rae (Sheila) Walter Miller of Hoagland; brother, Jack E. Hayes of Fort Wayne; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Richard W. Miller; father, Walter Frank Hayes; mother, Marie Pauline Hayes; son, Rollen Patrick Miller; and brother, Arthur J. Hayes. Service is 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2010, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue. Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue.
