Dr. Julius Cohen Chandler (1877-1943), eye, ear and throat specialist of Tampa for the past 25 years and formerly a practicing physician here for five years about 30 years ago, died in Tampa last Tuesday at the age of 65 years.
He was a native of Commerce, Ga., and a graduate of the University of Georgia and Emory Medical College.
After graduating here Dr. Chandler went to New Orleans, where he specialized at Charity Hospital for three years, prior to opening a practice at Tampa. (Palatka Daily News Obituary dated Tuesday, 25 May 1943.)
