Daughter of Hilburn Zitler Shatto and Alta Addie Church

Married Vernon Leroy Tipton February 1926
Children:
Ruth LaVerne Tipton - 17 February 1927

According to family Amy was a thoughtful person, liked to write poetry and played with alternate spellings of her given name, eg. Aimee. She grew up in a musical family. She played the guitar her brother Earl the banjo and half brother Clarence McDermott the violin.

She died woefully too young. Her husband remarried Isabelle Haase, moved to Nebraska and had four more daughters and one son.

Many thanks to Doug Harting, grandson, who also posted the photo to the right of Amy sitting on her mother's lap.
