Claire Lord
Claire Adele Lord, 62, 3320 11th Ave. S., a Great Falls native, long active in the church, club and lodge affairs, died Thursday in a local nursing home after a three-month illness.
She was the widow of Kenneth Lord, former owner of A & I Distributors, who died in 1965.
She was born in Great Falls, daughter of Adella LaMotte of this city, and the late Roy A. LaMotte. She was graduated from Great Falls High School and was married here in 1935.
Mrs. Lord was an active member of the Church of the Incarnation, Episcopal, and its women's organization, also of the Rainbow Study Club, Order of Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile and White Shrine of Jerusalem. She was also a member of PEO and Great Falls Senior Citizens.
Survivors are a son, Donald R.; her mother, a brother, Earl S. LaMotte, and sisters, Mrs. Mary Holler and Mrs. Barbara Clark, all of Great Falls, and another sister, Mrs. Lois Lambertz, Wichita, Kansas.
