C.J. CHUBB, 35, former Topekan, died Monday in a hospital at Elgin, Ill., from injuries received last week in a motor car accident at Chicago.
At the time of his death, he was sales representative of the Skelgas division of Skelly Oil Co.
He was educated in the Highland Park schools and afterward was associated with the Warren M. Crosby Co. for four years.
He was an employee of the Skelly Oil Co. in Topeka until he was transferred two years ago to Illinois.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Erna CHUBB; a daughter, Mary CHUBB, both of Elgin; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer CHUBB, Topeka; a brother Harry CHUBB, Topeka; and four sisters, Mrs. Clark BURBANK, Richland; Mrs. Vera RUSSELL, Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. Ethel OAKLEAF, Cloverdale, Calif., and Miss Dorothy CHUBB, Topeka.
Funeral services will be Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 at the Wall-Diffenderfer mortuary.
Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
