OBITUARY: Mrs. Isabella Bird of Francis Street, Horsham, died at the Wimmera Base Hospital yesterday morning. She was born at Douglas and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Brooksby. At Douglas she was married to Mr. Charles Niven Bird, who survives her together with 5 daughters. Olive Irene (Mrs. T. Baudinette, Riverside) Annie Eveline (Mrs. F. Barber, Walmer), Emma Lillian (Mrs. T. J Morson, Horsham), Emily May (Mrs. Murfett, Murray Bridge)and Lucy Isabella (Mrs. N Tucker, Horsham) One son, William Charles is deceased. She was aged 76 years.
Mrs. Bird has lived most of her life at Riverside until she and her husband retired to Horsham a few years ago. The funeral will be held at Horsham Cemetery after a service at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church at 10:30 a. m.
FUNERAL NOTICE:
Bird: The friends of the late Mrs. Isabella Bird, loved wife of Mr. Charles N. Bird of 14 Frances Street, Horsham, are respectivly informed that her funersl will take place tomorrow, Thursday, Nov 12th. The cortege will leave from St. Andrews Presbyterian Church after a service at 10:30 a.m. for the Horsham Cemetery.
