Frank is the son of Byron and Zilpha (Sheets) Benschoter. He married Margaret Ruth Burkett, Dec. 1, 1926. They had three children: Franklin, Robert, and Mary Ruth.

Frank was a member of the Mount Zion United Brethren Church.

Obituary:

Wayne--Frank Benschoter, 80, died at 8:25 p.m. Sunday in Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. A retired farmer, he was born Jan. 5, 1889, the son of Byron and Zilpha (Sheets) Benschoter in Wood County. He married Margaret Burkhart on Dec. 1, 1926, and she preceded him in death in 1945.

Survivors include sons Franklin, of Wayne and Robert, of Portage; daughter, Mrs. Mary Frisinger, Defiance; four grandchildren; a brother, Thomas, of Portage; and a sister, Mrs. Hazel Davis, Wayne. Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

Mr. Benschoter attended the Mt. Zion EUB Church in Wood County and was a member of the Bloom Grange. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Barndt Funeral Home, Wayne, with the Rev. Howard F. Munn in charge. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. todAy.
