Paul M. Paulson Dies After Lingering Sickness

Following a protracted illness from a complication of diseases, Paul M. Paulson, aged 61, died at his home in Sewaren last Friday night. The funeral services were held at the home of the deceased on Monday. The interment being in the Presbyterian Cemetery. The services at the home were conducted by the Rev. B.B. Skov. of the Danish Lutheran Church of Perth Amboy. The pastor was assisted at the grave by Sisters of the Fremad, a society of which Mr. Paulson was a member. Mr. Paulson was born in Danish Schteswig and left that province to escape German rule.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Annie Paulson; a son, Andrew; one daughter, Mrs. W. H. McNair, and a brother, Nelson, all of this township.

NOTE: According to 1900 census he immigrated to the US in 1888. His occupation is listed as teamster. His wife Anna born September 1884 in Ireland. His son Andrew was born in Denmark in June 1885. His daughter Anna was born August 1887 and his daughter Paulene born November 1898, all according to the 1900 census.
