Alice Evelyn Ingle Ammons age 96 of Canton went to be with the Lord Monday, December 24, 2007 at the Canton Christian Convalescent Center. She was born in Copper Hill, TN on October 7, 1911 to John and Sarah Ingle. She retired from Canton Laundry. She was a member of the All Denominational Holiness Church in Canton. She was a Christian Women who loved everyone. She devoted a lot of time helping Elderly folks.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband James Thomasson, Sr., her second husband Dennis Ammons, three sons Warren, Casper, and James Thomasson, one son in law Carson �Buddy� Cagle, one grandchild Paula Cagle, several brothers, sister in laws and nieces.

She is survived by her son Arthur Thomasson and his wife Judy of Clarksville, TN, one daughter Sarah Jane Cagle of Canton, four daughter in laws Mrytle, Laine, Linda, and Sarah Thomasson, seventeen grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:30 PM Friday in the Chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations with the Reverends Bud Gibson and Reverend Bobby Gaddis. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the Green Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be David Thomasson, Shannon Thompson, James Joseph Galloway, Greg Galloway, Marcus Underwood, and Bobby Cagle. Honorary Pallbearers will be Alex Oglesby and Shane Martin.

Memorial Contributions may be made for the Activities at the Canton Christian Convalescent Center.

Burial will be held at the Green Hill Cemetery.
