Mrs. Patrick E. Kehoe, 53, wife of the Secretary to Congressman William S. Jacobsen of the Second Iowa District, died at 5:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 21, 1941, at Providence Hospital in Washington D.C., following a 2-day illness of flu-pneumonia. She had gone to Washington to attend President Franklin Roosevelt's 3rd inaugural ceremony.
Services were at 9:00 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick's Church in Epworth, iowa.
She was former Margery O'Connor, born November 22, 1887 in Epworth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy O"Connor, pioneer, Dubuque County residents. She was educated in Epworth schools and later graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Dubuque.
She married Patrick E. Kehoe on November 25, 1919 in St. Patrick's Church, Epworth and the next 5 years they lived in Dubuque, after which they came to Farley where her husband served as superintendent of the public schools for 12 years.
Her only surviving relatives are her husband and a sister Sadie Callahan. She was preceded in death by her parents, and infant son, 1 brother and 1 sister
