Anita Louise Lapcevich Dixon, 580 N. Darby Road,
Hermitage, died unexpectedly at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7,
2006, in her home of natural causes. She was 70.

Mrs. Dixon was born Oct. 7, 1936, in Sharon to Daniel A.
and Mary Louise Matsko Valles. Anita graduated in 1954 from Hickory High School, Hermitage.

She retired in 2002 after 30 years as a school bus driver
from Hogue Trucking Co., Hermitage. Anita was a member of St. Ann's Church, Farrell. Her husband, James R. Dixon, whom she married March 11, 1989, survives at home.

Also surviving are: a son, Randy Lapcevich, husband of
Claudia, Dickerson, Md.; two daughters, Sherry White,
Beaver; and Michele Pittam, Madera, Calif.; two brothers,
Daniel Valles, La Mesa, Calif.; and Eugene Valles, husband
of Linda, El Cajon, Calif.; and four grandchildren, Jason and Jacquelyn White; and Stefan and Cassandra Lapcevich.

Her former husband, Frank A. Lapcevich, whom she married
Nov. 16, 1957, died Feb. 7, 1988. She was also preceded
in death by her father, Daniel A .Valles, on Dec. 10,
1967; and her mother, Mary Louise Valles, on Nov. 10,
2001.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to
Catholic Charities, 786 E. State St., Sharon 16146; or
American Cancer Society, 3208 Wilmington Road, New
Castle 16105.
