Jean A. Sibenaller, 71, of Aurora passed away Thursday, September 13, 2001 at Provena Mercy Center Hospital. She was born August 13, 1930 in Aurora, IL.
She was united in marriage to Jerome P. "Romie" Sibenaller on September 30, 1950. She was a life long member of Annunciation Church. She worked for Thor Power Tool and retired from RM Kaufman in 1994.
She is survived by her husband, "Romie" Sibenaller; five children, Kenneth (Marcia) Sibenaller of O'Fallon, IL, Theresa (the late, Ken) Sprott of Sugar Grove, IL, Susan (Joseph) Vallely of Yorkville, IL, James (Dawn) Sibenaller of Gurnee, IL, and Nancy (Steven) Curtis of Aurora, IL; 11 grandchildren, Kevin, Nicholas, Amy and Matthew Sibenaller, Mark, Greg and Kate Sprott, Megan and Andrew Sibenaller, and Nathan and Kelly Curtis; a great-granddaughter, Isabella Sibenaller; two sisters, Geraldine (Clarence) Dieter of Monroe, WI, and Joan Peterson of Aurora; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gary Sibenaller; two brothers, Robert and Raymond Schomer; one son-in-law, Ken Sprott, and by her parents, Henry and Catherine Schomer.
She was truly a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, and she will be dearly missed by all.
Funeral services will be held Monday, September 17, 2001 from 9:30 AM at THE DALEIDEN LAKE STREET MORTUARY to Annunciation Church at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Marywood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 16, 2001 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN LAKE STREET MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake Street, Aurora, IL 60506.
