Virgie Lee Beavers, 81, Athens, died Friday at an Athens hospital.
The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack Baldwin and the Rev. William Beard officiating. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Beavers was a member of the First Christian Church. He was a retired merchant.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys Beavers; four half-brothers, George Beavers of Loretta, TN, J.W. Beavers of Florence, and A.D. Beavers and Bud Beavers, both of Killen, AL.
