JOHN CHARLES BARRETT: 53; Leavittsbrg, was pronounced dead on arrival Tuesday afternoon [10-5] at Warren Generl Hosp, death was due to complications. He was born 13 Dec 1917 in Akron, son of Charles & Elizabeth Soules Barr-ett. He was a resident here since 1918, a bricklayer at Republic Steel Corp for 15yrs & last worked in 1966. He was a member of Lea-vittsburg First Community Church & an Army veteran of WW-II.
Survivors include 4 children: Nancy (sp-Don) Hinton; Patricia, Susan, Charles-all of FL; a sis: Thelma (sp-Francis) Clemmens-Leavitts-burg & 3 grandchildren.
Service will be held Thursday afternoon [10-7] at Robert Roberts Memorial Home. Burial will be in Crown Hill Burial Park.
