JACOB T. ELROD
Funeral services were at 2:30 p.m. today for Jacob T. Elrod, 70, of Monett, who died Tuesday afternoon at 12:45 in a Buchanan Funeral Home ambulance which was taking him to Ozark Osteopathic Hospital.
Mr. Elrod, a resident of Monett 30 years, had suffered a heart attack about noon at his home.
He was born in Maries County, near Rolla, July 2, 1883. He married the former Mary Jones at Monett, Sept. 15, 1904. He was a member of the Monett Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife, four sons and seven daughters.
The services were conducted in Buchanan Chapel in Monett by the Rev. Cecil Campbell. Burial was in IOOF Cemetery, Monett.
