Born Nov. 21, 1903, Kankade (sic), Kan., a son of Thomas and Anna Carson Clauson. Married Mae Neilson, May 29, 1929, Tooele. Member The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Veteran of World War I. Life member of Disabled t American Veterans, Chapter 2; Veterans of Foreign Wars, Chapter 409.
Survivors, widow; sons, daughters, William R., Mrs. Pearl Phelps, both of Murray; Howard C., Vernon G., both of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Dennis (Betty) Whiting, Maple Valley, Wash.; six grandchildren; brother, Luther, Missouri; sisters, Mrs. Barbara Dunfee, Pueblo, Colo.; Mrs. Pearl Short, San Pablo, Calif.
Funeral Thursday noon. 4760 S. State, where friends call Wednesday. 4-8 pm, Thursday, one hour prior to services. Burial, Murray Cemetery.
