Thomas II was born 1734 prob of Orange County, Virginia. (He is son of Thomas Wilmoth I, Sr., born ca 1700 in Virginia; passed on before his will was proved 24th Aug 1778 in Harrisburg, Rockingham Courthouse, VA and wife, Margaret (Cooper), born ca 1712 of Virginia and passed on after 1788 prob of Randolph County, (W)Virginia).
Thomas II died Wilmoth Settlement, Montrose, Randolph Co,(W)VA. Buried Wilmoth-Isner Cemetery, Lower Cheat, Randolph County,(W)VA (near Wilmoth's STONE HOUSE). Grave marked with Creek rock DOD is illegible.

Thomas II and Nancy Ann "Agnes" Waite (her father William Waite) married 16 Jan 1762 in the Peaked Mountain, Cooks Creek Presbyterian Church in Augusta/Rockingham County, Virginia. Their children Nicholas J., Mary D., Elizabeth, Thomas III, Susanna, Phoebe, Deborah, John W. and James Wilmoth.

Thomas Wilmouth according to Hennings Statutes at Large was a member of the Augusta Co., Virginia Military/Virginia Colonial Militia in Sept. 1758. (see Records vol 2 page 62). By William Armstrong Crozier.

Our Colonial and state records say that Thomas Wilmoth was a horseman (Cavalry man) during the war of the Revolution.
