Born in Boston, Mrs. Abunassar was raised and educated in Jamaica Plain. She had lived in the South End for many years and spent the last 20 or so years in Lakeville.
She worked at the Holy Cross Cathedral Rectory in the South End in her earlier years.
Wife of the late John, Mrs. Abunassar is survived by two daughters, Margaret M. McDonnell of Lakeville and Mary Catherine Burns of Norwell; two sons, Joseph P. Silve of Watertown, formerly of Roxbury, and Edward Dalton of Rockland; a brother, James R. McDonnell of Hingham; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Sts. Martha & Mary Church, Lakeville.
Burial will be at a later date.
