He is survived by one son, Robert Kaney, Adams; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by seven brothers and seven sisters.
Funeral services for Emmett Kaney were conducted on Tuesday, January 30, in the Gant-Garber Funeral Home with Fr. Thomas Fitzgerald officiating. Burial followed at a later date in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Loreto. Friends called on Tuesday morning prior to the service at the funeral home.
