Daughter of Mary Augusta Butts Sutherland. Survived by six daughters, Lillian Fitzpatrick, Toms River, N. J.; Mrs. William (Ethel) Wallbank, Dover Plains; Mrs. William (Augusta) Yeno, Wingdale; Mrs. John (Annabelle) Dipper, Bangall; Mrs. Neil (Louise) Hall, Poughkeepsie; Mrs. Percy (Carol) Ferris, Millbrook; four sons, William Heady of Hyde Park, with whom she made her home; Raymond, Clinton Corners; and Kenneth and Eugene, both of Millbrook, 40 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; two half-sisters, Mrs. George Bishop, Hyde Park and Mrs. Julia Clum, Salt Point, and a half-brother, Harold Sutherland, Pleasant Valley.
