Funeral services for David Raymond Terry, 63, are set for Wednesday at the Broad Street Church of Christ, where he was a member, with burial at Cookeville City cemetery. His death occurred January 25 at the Cookeville Nursing Home following a long illness.
Mr Terry, a native of Putnam County, son of J W Harvey and Nancy Isbell Terry, was reared in the Smyrna community and was a member of two outstanding families of the county.
He was a retired teacher of vocational agriculture serving as a member of the Central High School faculty for many years. He was a charter member of the Cookeville Rotary Club and was a resident of East 6th Street, Cookeville.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs Maggie Mott Terry; daughter Helen Mott Terry; 2 brothers, John William and Dr J Fred Terry, all of Cookeville.
