Robert Samuel BONHAM, 76, a retired school maintenance worker of Abilene, died at 9:05 a.m. Wednesday at Humana Hospital Abilene. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Elmwood Memorial Park, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory.
The Rev. Bob GREEN, pastor of Grace United Methodist Church, will officiate. The family requests friends to visit at the funeral home today.
Born March 28, 1908, in Crockett, Va., he worked at Bel Air High School in Maryland, Va., for 10 years. He moved to Abilene from Wytheville, Va., in 1971. He married Anna PHILLIPPI in 1928, in Groseclose, Va. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife.
Survivors include two sons, Robert W. of Abilene and Charles S. of Taft, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Cora Bell SAGE and Mrs. Margaret LUMUS, both of Maryland; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
