SIMMONS - Ryamon (Clarence) S. Simmons, 67, long time resident of Whitney Point and the Triple Cities, died Friday after a long illness. He is survived by one son, Lawrence Simmons, Alburn, Ill.; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Florence) Schumacher, Candor; one brother, Curtis Simmons, Silver Hill, Ala.; four sisters, Mrs. Charles (Ruth) Worix, Mrs. George (Grace) Bruster, Mrs. D.E. (Odessa) Dill, Mrs. Esther Hooper, all of Tenn.; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the William R. Chase and Son, Inc., Funeral Home, 44 Exchange St. with the Rev. Clifton Berg, of the Oakdale Westland Church, Officiating. Burial will be in Floral Park Cemetery, Johnson City, at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
