Samuel McClintic died March 2, 1884, in his 61st year and was buried beside his mother in the Lewisburg Cemetery behind the present Old Stone Presbyterian Church. As there were no children from his marriage his entire estate passed to his wife Ellen.
After Samuel's death, Ellen Bright married Charles W. (Charley Fox) McClung who was six years her senior. Charley Fox died May 19, 1906 at age 64 and was buried near the grave site of Samuel McClintic. Ellen died thirteen years later in 1919, at age 71. She was buried between her first and second husbands in the cemetery behind the Old Stone Presbyterian Church. Her estate passed to her brother's son Raymond E. Bright of Frankford, WVA. In 1951 Mr. Bright sold the farm of 520 acres, including the ten room brick house with its white columns to Mr. Henry Lindsay.
