With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Luella Magdalena Burgetz at Cambridge Memorial Hospital in her 95th year. Dearly loved mother of Bruce Burgetz and his wife Emily of Toronto, and grandmother to Stephanie Burgetz (Stephen Beneteau), Ingrid Burgetz (Christopher Porter) and Kristen Burgetz. Loving great-grandmother to Cayle, Quinn and Cordelia, survived by her sister Alice Martin and her husband Roy of Waterloo and her brother-in-law Ed Cressman.
Predeceased by her parents John and Catherine Kropf (nee Brenneman), her brother Melvin Kropf and sister Beatrice Cressman.
The Burgetz Family will receive friends at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King Street West on Sunday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Interment will be at Woodland Cemetery, 119 Arlington Blvd., on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Celebration of the life of Luella Burgetz will be held at Fairview Mennonite Home, 515 Langs Drive, Cambridge on Monday at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Marilyn Rudy-Froese of Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church officiating.
