Services were held Thursday, 22 Jun, at 10 a.m. in Bright-Holland Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ken Cannon officiating. Burial was in Meadowbrook Cemetery. Mrs. Weikel was born 16 Dec 1907, in Arkansas, a daughter of Lewis and Sarah Hogan Smith. She married Robert Weikel on 15 Nov 1925, in Paris. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was retired from Cannon Printing Co. Surviving are her husband; one daughter and son-in-law, Jeanette and Edwin Stephens of Plano; one grandson, David Stephens of Wylie; and two great grandchildren.’
