Charles Hunter, 70, of Evansville died at 4:02 p.m. Thursday at St Medical Center. He retired in 1981 from Robert Traylor Construction Co and was a member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church.


Surviving are his wife, Willetta; a daughter, Barbara Perkins of Cocoa, Fla., a son, Charles Roger Hunter of Titusville, Fla.; two sisters, Jean Gardner and Mary Grable, both of Indianapolis; nieces and nephews.


Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Boone Funeral Home Fourth and Chandler with burial in Mapleview Cemetery at Marion, Ky.


Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
