According to Samuel J. Spalding, in his "Spalding Memorial" published in 1872, Timothy Spaulding was born in 1676, the youngest child of John Spaulding and Hannah Hale. Samuel J. Spaulding further states that, "His (Timothy) name does not appear on the Chelmsford records, but after a careful examination, I am persuaded that he was a son of John. He (Timothy) d. April 14, 1763; m(arried) 1st, Rebecca Winn, of Woburn, March 5, 1700. She was born Feb. 4, 1679, and died Dec 9, 1726; 2d. m(arriage) Bethiah (surname unknow). His wife Bethiah d(ied) Dec. 4, 1759. Timothy was admitted to the Lord's table in Westford, 1728."
