SHELBY TOLER

Shelby Toler, 88, of Winchester, widower of Iona "Onie" Devary, passed away Monday at the Clark Regional Medical Center.

He was born Jan. 30, 1922 in Powell County to the late Green Berry and Geneva Young Toler.

He was a World War II United States Army veteran, a retired homebuilder and farmer, a member of the Christian church, a Kentucky Colonel and a former member of the Good Time Square Dance Club.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Sharon (Charles Louis) Estes, of Miramar Beach, Florida; son and daughter-in-law Lynn (Sabrina) Toler of Winchester; two brothers, Kelly Toler of Winchester and Warren F. Toler of Irvine; four sisters, Arvie Spencer, Norma Jones, Laverne Adams and Dora Winburn, all of Winchester; four grandchildren, Charles Louis Estes II, Shelby Lynn Toler II, Joshua Lee Toler and Cody Ryan Toler; four great-grandchildren, Alexa Keen Toler, Kamryn Elizabeth Toler, Shelby Caroline Toler and Charles Louis Estes III; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, John Toler.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. by Brother Donald Wayne Hatton at Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. until the hour of service.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Donald Ray Gillespie and Officer John Toler.

Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery.
