Among his military awards and decorations were the Silver Star with OLC; Legion of Merit with OLC; Bronze Star Medal with Valor with 6 OLC: Meritorious Service Medal; Air Medal with 4 OLC; Army Commendation Medal with 2 OLC; Combat Infantry Badge; Parachutist Badge; National Defense Service Medal; Vietnam Campaign Medal; Vietnam Service Medal; Army Presidential Unit Citation; Vietnam Gallantry Cross; Army Good Conduct Medal; and Purple Heart with OLC.
Interment on March 30, 1971.
