John Frederick "Fritz" Kallenbach, 83, Tuscumbia, died Sunday at Memorial Community Hospital. He was born May 12, 1899, at Tuscumbia, the son of John and Minnie Nixdorf Kallenbach. On Jan. 6, 1932, he was married at Jefferson City to Eula M. Dorl, who survives at the home.

Mr. Kallenbach lived in Miller County all his life and he was a member of the Saline Valley Church of Christ.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. Freda Marie Swanson, Manchester, Mrs. Anna Mae Jarrett, Jefferson City; three sisters, Mrs. Stella Kallenbach and Mrs. Hazel Kurty, both of Eldon, and Mrs. Ruth Kallenbach, Jefferson City; two brothers, Edison Kallenbach and Henry Kallenbach, both of Eldon; and three grandsons.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon, with Brother Murl Nash officiating. Burial will be in the Tuscumbia Cemetery, Tuscumbia. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Phillips Funeral Home.
