Son of William Perry and Harriet Springer

In 1850 and 1860, he lived in Boston, Massachusetts, with parents, siblings, and boarders. His father was a wood and coal dealer in 1850; a clerk in 1860.

He died of tuberculosis at the age of 17, per death record. His original, handwritten, Boston death record is dated 17 Nov 1864, which differs from the death date engraved on his stone. [His stone, as well as those of his parents, are matching in style and were all engraved after his mother's death in 1903, which may explain the dating error.]
