DAVIS, JACK D.; of Highland township; died September 24, 2006; at the age of 75. He is survived by his loving wife, Joan; children Kathy (Jack) Henn of Holly, Linda Quackenbush of Holly, Chuck (Jennifer) Davis of Fenton, JAck Craig (Amie) Davis of Holly; 14 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren; sisters Maxine (the late Ronald) Averill of Milford, Marilyn (Richard Stoops) of New Mexico, Dottie Davis of Oscoda; brothers, Robert (Donna) Davis of Connecticut and Terry (Donna) Davis of Ypsilanti. Mr. Davis also leaves many loving nieces, nephews, dear friends and his faithful companion and loving dog, Pepper.

Mr. Davis served as a Sergeant in the Korean War and was an Elder at Holly Presbyterian Church. He retired in 1993 from GM Proving Grounds where he worked as an Audio & Visual Supervisor.

Funeral from Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 404 E. Liberty St., Milford Wednesday 11 a.m. The Rev. Doctor Herb Swanson to officiate. Burial Milford Memorial Cemetery. Friends may visit Tuesday 4 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday 9 a.m. until time of Service. Memorials may be made to Holly Presbyterian Church.
