Services held for Luther B. Austin
Funeral services for Luther Baxter Austin of Magee, Route 1, were held Sunday afternoon from the Mims Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy R. Thomas and Rev. William E. Green officiating. Interment was In the Sharon cemetery with Mims Mitchell Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Austin, 89 years old, died Saturday at the residence of a daugnter near Magee. He was a native of Smith County and a longtime resident of the Magee area.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Clyde Everett and Mrs. Ates. both of Magee, and Mrs. G. D. Bobo of Natchez; one son, Vardaman B Austin of Mize; ten grandchildren; and twenty-one great grandchildren.
