Charlotte A. Stiteler, 81, Home, died Friday, April 7,1995, at Indiana Hospital. The daughter of Clover and Maude Wilson Galentine. she was born June 21, 1913, in West Mahoning Township, Indiana County. Mrs. Stiteler was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church, Smicksburg, where she was a member of the Women's Association. She was also a member of the Smicksburg Homemakers. A housewife, she had been employed by Penn Traffic for many years. Surviving are three daughters and three sons: Mary Beth.Fetterman, Brattleboro, Vt.: Delores Ruddock, Home; Edward E. Stiteler, Houston, Texas; Margaret Stiteler, Smicksburg; Donald C. McClelland. Home; and Thomas W. Stiteler, Indiana RD 6; 18 grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren; and one brother, Forrest Wilson, DuBois. She was preceded in death by her first husband. Earl McClelland, in 1938; her second husband, William Stiteler, in 1982; one son. Wilbur "Bill" McClelland, in 1985; one granddaughter, Jamie Stranford, in 1987; one brother and one sister, Preston Gallentine and Dorothy Rose. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday in the Bowser- Minieh Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Salem Lutheran Church. Smicksburg, with the Rev. Timothy Spence officiating. Interment will be made in Smicksburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Salem Lutheran Church, Smicksburg.
